This specification covers urea (carbamide) of fertiliser grade, supplied by Afri-Fuel-Consult (Pty) Ltd as intermediary, to GOST 2081-2010 of the Russian Federation. Two physical grades are offered, granular and prilled, both carrying a guaranteed nitrogen content of 46% minimum. The figures stated give the GOST values together with the international export tolerances commonly accepted in seaborne trade. The governing values for any shipment are those of the manufacturer's Certificate of Analysis read with the sale contract.
Contract Quantity: 50,000 metric tonnes (MT) per shipment, +/- 5% in Seller's option. First / Trial Lift: 50,000 MT (one full vessel lot), backed by an operative banking instrument. Annual Supply Volume: up to 600,000 MT per annum per client, by separate written agreement of the Parties. Delivery Schedule: laycan and shipment programme to be fixed in the Sale and Purchase Agreement.
Quality and quantity shall be determined at the load port by SGS, Intertek or another internationally recognised independent inspection body, whose certificates shall be final and binding on the Parties for the purpose of the shipment, save for fraud or manifest error. The cost allocation for inspection shall be set out in the Sale and Purchase Agreement.
Unit Price: $x per metric tonne. Delivery Term: FOB Port of St Petersburg, Russian Federation (Incoterms 2020). Currency: United States Dollars (USD). Price Basis: firm for the validity period of this offer; thereafter subject to written reconfirmation by AFC.
Indicative cargo value: 50,000 MT x $X = $X per shipment (before the +/- 5% quantity tolerance, settled at the contract price against the inspected B/L weight). Indicative annual value at full programme: 600,000 MT x $x = $X.
All values are quoted at point of loading and are subject to the analytical methods set out in GOST 2081-2010. Where a parameter is marked “to be confirmed” it depends on the final mill nomination, which is not yet known. Quality and quantity shall be determined at the load port by SGS, Intertek or another internationally recognised independent inspection body.
